Who doesn't love summer?
Its carefree and sunny nature helps replenish energy levels and prepares you for the shorter days of fall. And it helps keep colorless winter days at bay.
But a strange thing happened this year.
As June, July, and August went by, summer was nowhere to be found. It's like it was hiding in plain sight.
Instead of bright blue skies and warm sunny days, we got cooler days with heavy gray clouds, thunderstorms, and rain.
So. Much. Rain.
For the record, it’s not all bad.
Everything is lush and green, and I absolutely love that.
The issue? A whole summer with minimal sun has my energy running on reserves.
I can't have that, and you shouldn't, either!
So I decided to take matters into my own hands. I dreamed up a collection that creates and sustains that bright and beautiful essence of summer. Visually and energetically. Through the fall season - and beyond.

Choosing Stones | Capturing the Essence of Summer
I didn’t realize how much I looked to the sky for warmth and energy until this year.
All summer, the torrential downpours were intense. I was hiding under an umbrella more often than not. The clouds were dark and heavy, and they could last all through the night.
I missed the sun. I missed the bright blue sky. And I missed the stars.
So I began looking for stones that capture the essence of the summer sky.
I decided on a mix of golden healer quartz points to represent the warmth of the sun, African and Peruvian turquoise wands to correspond to the bright blue sky, and citrine stars to bring a twinkle to the dark.
Golden Healer Quartz Points and Their Energy
Golden healer quartz is a variety of quartz that gets its warm shades of color from iron oxide.
The crystal points in this collection are all one of a kind and range from clear and opaque with warm yellows, oranges, and browns. Each piece has a distinctive warm glow, which was exactly what I was looking for.
Golden healer quartz resonates with all seven energy centers in the body, and is said to bring balance and promote healing on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level. This stone reminds you that you are a work in progress, and that you deserve time and patience to flourish.

African Turquoise Wands and Peruvian Turquoise Energy
African turquoise and Peruvian turquoise aren’t technically true turquoise. While there are similarities in color, they are different stones that form under unique circumstances.
Even so, each is equally powerful in its own right.
African turquoise is a variety of jasper found in Africa, and is known as the stone of evolution. Connected to the throat and heart chakras, this stone can help support you through times of transformation and growth. Combined with the wand shape (aka staff), it is meant to symbolize your personal power.
Wear this stone as a reminder to find the wisdom in your own experiences.
Peruvian Turquoise is a type of chrysocholla found in Peru, and is a stone of communication, protection, and emotional balance. Peruvian turquoise is most often associated with the throat chakra. The shapes used in the collection are big, bold, and wildly unapologetic.

Citrine Energy and Star Symbolism
Citrine was chosen due to its gorgeous golden color and powerful energies of joy and optimism.
It’s a variety of quartz that derives its bright and sunny hue naturally from iron or heat treatment. Natural citrine is quite rare, and the colors are typically paler than heat-treated varieties. Either way, the energy of the charming stone remains consistent.
Connected to the solar plexus chakra, this stone is said to attract positive energy, abundance, and prosperity.
